Even though we’re living during uncertain times, I’m still excited about life and all that it has to offer. When I first wrote this particular article, my kids were going through life shifts in school as graduates. Now they are 20 and 23. We are still reminded once again that time waits for no one!!! Now that we’ve reached this milestone, I’m pivoting as I prepare for retirement from one profession and up leveling in another. We have a tendency to say not today, maybe tomorrow, not now, maybe later, but when we look up, tomorrow is now, later is here and in addition to other life happenings you have a new issue to address today! My charge to you is to seize the opportunity to do what you must do today!! How are you preparing for your tomorrow–today? What have you been putting off or avoiding that you should be working on today?
Most of the time, we put the things off, procrastinate, or avoid things that we consider unattainable, hard to reach, not ready for or need more preparation, but if you think back to areas in your life when you pressed your way through, you were no way as prepared as you are now. You may think you still don’t have enough, but you have what you need. You were born ready!!! Just think about all of your past accomplishments that you stepped into and YOU DID IT!
